Privacy Policy

HaruTail (“the App”) is designed to work without a developer account, advertising, analytics, or behavioral tracking.

Data the developer collects

The developer does not collect, transmit to a developer-operated service, sell, or share personal or device data through the App. No third-party advertising or analytics SDK is included.

Data stored for you

The App stores the following locally on your Apple device and in an App Group shared only with its widget. When you are signed into iCloud, an encrypted backup is also stored in your CloudKit private database:

• selected pet, breed, name, growth, family, care, and achievement progress;
• event and anniversary dates, titles, emoji, and repeat settings;
• app preferences and a limited widget snapshot; and
• whether Apple reports an active lifetime premium entitlement.

This data provides the App’s features and restores them after a reinstall or device change. CloudKit private records are accessible only to you by default and their contents are not visible in the developer portal. If iCloud is unavailable, new data stays local and may be lost when the App is deleted.

Deletion

Settings → Reset All Data replaces the current local and private iCloud state with a blank state. Deleting the App removes local data, but an existing private iCloud copy may remain available until reset or managed through Apple’s iCloud settings.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases through StoreKit. The developer does not receive payment-card or Apple Account credentials. The App receives only transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock premium features.

Children and international use

The App is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information. The developer does not transfer App data between countries; Apple may process private iCloud synchronization and App Store transactions under its own policies.
